Debra A. Stevens
Ms. Stevens is Of Counsel at the firm. She has extensive experience in representing developers, builders, general contractors, construction professionals and subcontractors in complex Construction Defect Litigation from analysis of initial pleadings through mediation and trial. She also is highly skilled in defending Premises Liability, Products Liability, General Casualty, Environmental, and Automobile Liability Defense, including Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Claims. She practices in Colorado and California.Her interests include hiking and reading as well as attending the theatre and ballet. She is a fan of the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Rockies.
Professional Activities
Ms. Stevens is a member of the the Colorado Bar Association, California Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. She also belongs to the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.Her litigation efforts have led to a number of advantageous motions and settlements on behalf of the firm's clients. In one motion regarding acoustical repair damages, she obtained a Court ruling that a party must show actual property damage, economic loss of use and/or personal injury to recover under negligence theories.
