We represented the grading subcontractor in a multi-million dollar construction defect action. After six weeks of trial, the jury awarded a 12-0 defense verdict in favor of our client. Pursuant to the terms of the judgment, it was to be amended to reflect the final net amount after the post trial motions were heard with respect to the determination of which party was prevailing for the purposes of awarding attorneys' fees and other costs. Our client was subsequently awarded all attorneys' fees and litigation costs.
